Why To Majority Of Players Time Out At The Start Of Poker Tournaments Online (party Poker)?

Is this just the accepted thing at these tournaments or can that be a sign of poker bots on the table

It’s not the sign of poker bots. It can be that they have issues with their connection. Also if you talk about freerolls or even low limits buy-in…Well some people don’t care, they register and have to leave…And just don’t care because it’s free or cheap. I assure you one thing: That doesn’t happen when it’s a big buy-in.

I wouldn’t say that is necessarily the sign of a bot. Many people willl sign up for a tournament, then come back to the tournament at around the start time. Oftentimes they don’t come back until a few minutes late, which in turns lead to them timing out on the first hand. I would say I time out on the first hand in about half the tourneys that I play.
