Throwing A 30th Bday Party?

for my husband. His interests include poker and football and most other sports. Has anyone ever went to a poker party. Did you enjoy it or not? bday in Dec. any other ideas are wanted. Not real excited about throwing a poker party….help pls

Just have a “games” party. Have different people bring their favorite games and take turns playing on teams like couples or men against women. Have plenty of mixed drinks and snack foods. We do this all the time and we have a blast. Plus everyone gets a chance to play their fav. game.

I know it night sound boring and a little typical but what about a Bowling Party? Or instead of just narrowing it down to a Poker Party, why don’t you have a Las Vegas party, that way you can keep the “beloved” Poker involved but you can also have stuff like Black Jack, Roulette and Crapps, you can also mix some entertainment in with it as well, you can be in Vegas and not see entertainment. Oh! And don’t forget that Vegas is packed out with lots or bright lights too…

What about to have his friends over and sports on the t.v.Plus chips and dip.Maybe some beer but not much.It cheap.Plus he is at home.

Poker parties are a blast, but you want to keep it kinda small. You can have everyone bring money, quarters, etc or something else like minature candy bars or both!
