Are Religious People Allowed To Play Cards?
February 08, 2010 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Uncategorized
I am planning to have a party gathering and there will be people of different religions. I was hoping to play a few card games for entertainment - like blackjack or poker - but was wondering if this would be against any religion (christian, jew, muslim)??

As long as no money exchanges hands! That, then would be constituted as gambling, which is against our Creator! But playing cards just for fun - there is no harm in that!
I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

To play card is to engage in a game of chance which preempts God’s will for you so I would not do this if I were you.
